Silence

Sometimes God speaks in a voice you can't hear.
So slow down.
Be silent.
And listen for that majestic whisper.

So, we were challenged in our Bible study to just take some time and be silent. Because you know how your mind wanders? Well...the direction that your thoughts take shows what's in your heart. I thought it was just because I couldn't concentrate.

So, I did that, and I'm cutting back on music for a while in my room and driving by myself in the car. First time that I tried just being silent today, I was still too. I fell asleep. I went out to a lake to just sit and read the Word. It was amazing. So, those few lines at the top are my thoughts about today.

Just to let you know. I love God. I have fallen in love with Him all over again. And it's a continuous thing.
