I'm Back (for a while)

I'm back, but there's an explanation. Things this summer have definitely been changed around.

So, I'm done with another school year. Quite thankful that I am too. God's been doing some amazing things in my life lately, and I'm quite grateful for that.

Remember that internship I didn't get? Well, I had turned down another offer from a summer camp just to interview. Yeah...stupid, stupid, stupid idea. Well, after I didn't get the internship, this summer camp just kept coming up. And I thought, "No, God that's not for me. I'll be better somewhere else."

I pretty much fought God on that issue...I lost. (HOW STINKIN' STUPID OF ME! But thankfully, God's grace and love covered that all up.)

Well, I found out yesterday that the position I would have wanted to get back in January is still available. I've applied, been interviewed, and 97.83% been offered a job...all in the past 24 hours. =] Yeah, get excited.

So, I'll be leaving for an area near Columbia, SC on June 1st to work for ten weeks (maybe nine...you'll see why soon). It's called Camp La Vida. Go check it out. I'm pretty darn excited about it. If I get the chance, and I'm not too tired, I'll give you weekly updates when I come home on the weekends.

Okay, as for the nine weeks instead of ten, I had been talking to my youth pastor about going to Student Life Camp with them this summer as an adult leader (what...adult? Me? My mother just said I looked like I was twelve...that's a funny story for another time.). So, if I can get the week off, I'll be joining the church in Toccoa Falls, GA for a week of learning about God and praising Him with Matt Papa & some of my best friends.

It's summer. Get excited. Peace. I'm going to bed, man.
